If you’re looking to move to Napa Valley in California and have a cool $7.5m (€6.59m) to spare, Hollywood actor and director Robert Redford’s home is up for sale and it’s stunning.
Danza del Sol, the 10-acre wine country retreat in St. Helena, is gated and very private, and it has a direct path to Meadowood resort with great hiking trails.

The main residence is a white stucco manor house with eight rooms, and it covers 5255 sq ft. It has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There is a separate 907-sq ft studio with one bedroom and bathroom for guests.
The property also includes a 450-sq-ft workshop and a 900-sq ft detached garage and gym. It has an art studio built for painter Sibylle Szaggars Redford, the 82-year-old actor’s wife, which features clear glass garage doors that roll up to the ceiling, plus a full bathroom and office.
There is also an orchard and vegetable garden, and if you purchase the property, you can hang out in the redwood hot tub and cabana beside the swimming pool.
The couple bought the 10-acre estate through a trust in 2004, and were attracted by its setting and its European-style architecture. As it’s set on top of a knoll, it has stunning views that are maximised from every space at the estate.
Robert and Sibylle plan to move to the Bay Area to be closer to family, and also have a luxury ranch outside Provo, Utah. It’s at the Redford-owned Sundance Mountain Resort where the annual Sundance Film Festival takes place, which the Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning star founded.
Danza del Sol is for sale through Pacific Union International and further information is available here.
