The Napa Valley Wine Train is about to launch a Murder Mystery Tour, one that will take passengers back into the 1920s, right in the middle of the United States’ prohibition era. The plot of the murder mystery which guests will have to try and solve by trading clues and gathering information before the time runs out and the murderer escapes features “mobsters, jealous lovers, a rival mafioso, and a pair of undercover federal agents.”

“Our vintage train is the ideal setting for this interactive journey and its early 1920s theme,” said Scott Goldie, the Co-CEO of The Napa Valley Wine Train, in a statement. And to better suspend their disbelief and let themselves be surrounded by the Prohibition-era setting, guests are of course encouraged to dress up in 1920s fashion like tassel skirts, pinstripe suits, sequin headbands and fedoras.
