Popular Nashville musicians, Kings of Leon, will headline the second annual SandJam Music Festival at M.B. Miller Pier, along with Third Eye Blind and Young The Giant. Visitors are expected to flock to the three-day adult alternative rock festival presented by Pepsi, which runs on two stages from April 26 to 28 and features over 20 acts.

Dan Rowe, Panama City Beach president and CEO, feels that seeing the musical giants perform on the beach will be a completely enhanced experience for fans, compared with seeing them in a stadium. “Panama City Beach’s beautiful sugar-white sand beaches and emerald green waters paint the most beautiful backdrop for performances this year, making SandJam unique among other music festivals of its kind,” he explains.

“General admission tickets grant guests access to the festival grounds, while VIP passes give attendees the chance to enjoy a two-story viewing area, firepits, hammocks, pub-style seating, VIP air-conditioned restrooms and more.”

Aside from SandJam, music fans will be spoiled for choice at the family-friendly resort city over the next few months. Country music fans will get their turn in the spotlight when the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam festival kicks off from August 30 to September 1. Tim McGraw, Kid Rock and Jason Aldean will headline the three-day open-air festival, which will also feature a host of other country acts.

Then there’s the Seabreeze Jazz Festival, which will run from April 24 to 28 at Aaron Bessant Park amphitheater. Its mellow vibes are set to attract over 20,000 fans for the ultimate performance-packed weekend of fun and music from top national smooth jazz artists.

According to Dan Rowe, PCB’s Summer Concert Series will run every Thursday from June 7 to August 9 and is not to be missed. Visitors can bring their lawn chairs, blankets, food and even pets to Aaron Bessant Park amphitheater to enjoy blues, country, classic rock, funk, sacred steel, soulgrass and more. “We encourage everyone to come to Panama City Beach for the music and stay for the beaches to make memories that last a lifetime with loved ones,”  he says.
