US travellers who need a bit of inspiration to plan a family vacation take note – one airline is offering free flights for kids from the US to Scandinavia and Finland.
For a limited time, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has brought back its deal that allows passengers to just pay taxes and fees for kids up to 11 when they are travelling with an adult on SAS flights from the US to Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. That means bringing the kids along on an incredible holiday could only cost around US$60 for each child.
SAS has flights leaving from cities like New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Miami, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. Travellers can head to a wide range of cities through Scandinavia and Finland, including Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, the Faroe Islands and more. SAS has previously offered a number of incentives to attract travellers from America, including offering an earlier deal that would allow travellers to rent a car for free on a five-day trip if they booked flights with the airline.
The beginning of 2019 is also a great time to bring over kids who are looking to enjoy the snow-filled wonders of Scandinavia in the winter. Should you need a bit more inspiration in picking a destination, Lonely Planet named Copenhagen its top city to visit in 2019.
If this sounds like the ultimate reason to make a Nordic holiday a reality for your family, you’ll have to act fast. Travellers need to buy their tickets by 10 December for travel between 8 January and 2 April 2019. Find out more here.
