Qasr Al Sarab by Anantara is a secluded oasis on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, surrounded by the flame-coloured dunes of the Rub’ al Khali, or Empty Quarter. A fortress of turrets, courtyards and fountains houses rooms and suites, and all offer Instagrammable views of the desert.

Guests can take in sunsets from the resort’s rooftop lounge, and can choose to dine poolside or out in the desert under the stars. During the cooler months, the Al Falaj restaurant offers a Bedouin-style dining experience, where guests can relax on Arabic-style seating as they dine to the flickering lights of the bonfire.

They can even reserve a Royal Pavilion villa out in the desert, which is separate from the main resort. It comes complete with its own private plunge pool, shaded day-beds and personal villa host, and its Arabian décor will lend itself well to pretty pics on the grid.

Other Instagrammable features at the Qasr Al Sarab include the library and souk. Guests can also unwind with hammam and desert rose rituals, all of which will look great on the ‘gram. For further information on the resort, please see here.
