If the idea of getting paid generously to live on yachts all over the world for review purposes appeals to you, you may be interested in a job on offer from a recently-launched luxury shopping website.
Headquartered in London, HushHush.com is looking to hire a yacht reviewer, who will spend a week on each yacht and create a detailed report of everything they find prior to it being listed on the site. The employment will be on a pro-rata, self-employed basis, and the successful candidate will need to be flexible and available on short notice throughout the year. He or she will be over 21 years old, have a passport and be willing to travel. They will also need to be reliable, hard-working, have an eye for detail and a flair for writing detailed and high-quality reviews.
“You’ll live, sleep, eat and shower on a yacht for a week, but during that week, we’ll need you to test everything on the yacht,” the job advertisement says. “This means every plug socket, door, bed, shower, tap – everything to make sure that the yacht is up to our standards. You will be paid £1000 ($1302) per yacht you review on completion of the week’s stay and the report being received. With the potential to review up to 50 yachts a year, the successful applicant could earn £50k ($65.1k).”
Applicants don’t need experience of yachts, but having some will give them an advantage. HushHush.com is looking for the reviewer to start the job as soon as possible, and the application can be made on the link here.
