One of the first ever listicles, the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World” were a group of must-see landmarks for travelers in Ancient Greece compiled in the second century. Unfortunately for modern-day tourists, only one of these sites, the Great Pyramid of Giza, still exists.
However, thanks to Budget Direct, an Australian travel insurance provider, you can now get a glimpse of what these ancient wonders looked like in their fully restored glory. Using historical records and illustrations, the renderings were designed by professional architects and sent to a motion graphics artist to animate. Hit play on the video above to watch history come to life before your eyes.
