A beautiful photograph can be enough to inspire the trip of a lifetime, which is why travel-lovers are consistently heading to Instagram to seek out new and incredible destinations.

Big 7 Travel surveyed travellers, finding that 67% say they have visited a new destination after seeing it on Instagram. To find out just where people love to post about, the company compiled its list of the world’s most Instagrammable destinations for 2019. The countries were ranked “in order of their visual allure and popularity on social media,” based on a scoring system that analysed the number of hashtags for the destination, a survey of Big 7 Media’s audience, and votes cast by a panel of travel experts.
