Summer’s in full swing and airlines have announced new flight routes and services for the month of July.
New York to Athens
Low-cost airline Norwegian will launch a nonstop service between New York’s JFK Athens International Airport. Beginning on 1 July, the service will operate four times per week until 26 October: every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Minnesota to Dublin
Ireland’s second-largest airline Aer Lingus will connect the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St Paul with Dublin with a new nonstop service from 8 July, making it the sixth nonstop European destination from Minneapolis-St Paul Airport.
Las Vegas to Amsterdam
Last month, Dutch carrier KLM launched a direct route between Las Vegas and Amsterdam with a twice-weekly service. From 2 July, the airline will add a third service between the two cities, flying out every Thursday, Friday and Tuesday.
London to Ljubljana
From 15 July, British Airways will operate a twice weekly service from London Heathrow to one of Europe’s most exciting emerging tourism hotspots, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Flights will depart every Friday and Monday until 2 September.
London to Montpellier
British Airways will also launch a new service between London Heathrow and Montpellier, France (a popular summer camping destination for families) every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 2 September.
Dublin to Sardinia
Low-cost airline Ryanair will operate a summer service between Ireland’s capital Dublin and Sardinia’s historic capital Cagliari. Starting on 5 July, the twice-weekly service will run until the end of August.
